Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Art and Music teacher to join our team !

Are you an enthusiastic, creative, warm and caring teacher looking for a special, rewarding opportunity? Our school is looking for an art and music teacher. Ideally, you are very excited at the possibility of working with neurodiverse students in a small group format.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging art and music lesson plans tailored to various age groups (Kindergarten to Grade 8)
  • Foster creativity and self-expression through hands-on activities in art and music
  • Create a welcoming classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including classroom safety and hygiene practices
  • Prepare materials and resources needed for lessons

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching, or working with children in an educational setting (Preferred)
  • Background in arts education, music instruction, or related fields
  • Strong communication skills and patience when working with children of diverse backgrounds
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop fun, educational activities
  • Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for scheduling needs
  • Superior English speaking skills

This position provides an enriching opportunity to make a positive impact on children's artistic growth while fostering a love for learning through creative expression.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
