Full job description

Edge Transportation specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.
In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.
We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.

Edge Transport is growing and currently looking to recruit experienced class 1 flat deck drivers. Looking to gain experience with super bs? We will train you! You can be located in the Meadow Lake, North Battleford or the Saskatoon area. If you are located in the Meadow Lake or North Battleford area you will be able to pop home for dinner or lunch everyday while on shift!!

The shift will consist of 5 days on and 2 days off and you get to pick when you start your 5 days on! Dedicated lane so you know where your driving everyday!

What You Bring:

  • A positive CAN-DO attitude
  • Safety conscious approach to all job duties
  • Class 1A Driver’s License – 2 years
  • 2 year super b flat/step deck experience required
  • A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check & pre-employment drug screening
