Full job description

Role:

As a Board member, you'll provide strategic guidance, oversight, and support to help us achieve our goals. Your expertise will contribute to our success and help shape the future of our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend 1-2 meetings per month
  • Review and provide input on strategic plans, budgets, and key initiatives
  • Offer expertise and guidance in your area of specialty
  • Support and represent the Corporation's interests

We're looking for:

  • Experience in business, finance, law, Government or a related field
  • Understanding of Indigenous economic development and community needs
  • Strong communication and strategic thinking skills
  • To work well with a team and ability to follow and create policies, financial planning for TKEDC
  • Looking for Aviation Experience is an asset

Following strategic plans for the TKEDC set out by TKN leadership.
