REPORTS TO
Owner / President
Imagine running the show in a town where the morning commute comes with alpine views, your work shapes how visitors experience one of Canada’s most iconic mountain destinations, and your weekends are powered by world-class skiing, mountain biking, and wilderness right out the door.
That’s the role. And it’s one of the most rewarding leadership opportunities in BC’s tourism and hospitality sector.
ABOUT REVELSTOKE TRANSFERS
Since 2009, Revelstoke Transfers has grown from a single airport shuttle into the region’s premier ground transportation company — a locally-owned, year-round operation trusted by Revelstoke Mountain Resort, the City of Revelstoke, Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing, Eagle Pass Heliski, Bighorn Lodge, Bison Lodge, and many of the region’s most respected lodges and operators.

SERVING REVELSTOKE
Today, our four core service lines move locals and visitors safely and on-time across BC and Alberta:
- Kelowna Airport Shuttle — daily year-round connections between YLW and Revelstoke
- Resort Express Shuttle & Revelstoke Transit — the public transit and resort connector for the entire town
- Private Transfers & Ikon Pass Shuttle — luxury SUV, van, and bus service across BC and Alberta, plus the exclusive Ikon link to SilverStar
- Charters, Weddings & Events — 24/7/365 group transportation for the most important days of our clients’ lives
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a General Manager to lead the next chapter of our growth. You’ll oversee all four service lines and guide a passionate team that takes pride in moving people safely through some of Canada’s most beautiful country.
This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership. You’ll work directly with the Owner, the CFO, and a strong management team — Operations, Sales & Reservations, Finance — to set strategy, drive operational excellence, and grow the business. You’ll be visible to staff, partners, and the community as the face of Revelstoke Transfers.
WHAT YOU’LL LEAD
Operations & Compliance
Oversee daily operations across all service lines including employee supervision, oversight of the preventative vehicle maintenance program, and ensure every aspect of fleet, safety, and passenger transport meets municipal, provincial, and federal standards. Own incident response and continuous improvement of policies and procedures.
People & Team Development
Build the team that builds the brand. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for drivers, dispatchers, and reservations staff. Coach and develop your managers, foster a collaborative culture, and champion the technology that makes great service possible at scale.
Financial & Performance Management
Work alongside the CFO and Assistant Controller on annual budgets, monthly variance reporting, and financial controls. Own payroll oversight, revenue handling and cash reconciliation, and reporting on the KPIs that matter most.
Business Development & Partnerships
Be the primary point of contact for our key partners — BC Transit, City of Revelstoke, and Revelstoke Mountain Resort, etc. Work with the Sales & Reservations Manager to grow existing service lines, identify new ones, and ensure every customer touchpoint reflects our standard for elevated, personalized service.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’re a proven operations leader with experience in passenger transportation, logistics, tourism, or hospitality. You’ve built and led teams, hit KPIs, and managed compliance and safety in regulated environments. Beyond that:
- Strong relationship builder — equally comfortable with drivers, partners, and stakeholders
- Confident with budgets, variance reporting, and operational data
- Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety standards
- Experience developing business continuity and risk management plans
- Familiarity with the Revelstoke region, BC tourism seasons, and regional travel patterns is a strong asset
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Above all, you share our values: safety, reliability, an elevated guest experience, personalized service, and community.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
- Competitive salary: $80,000–$90,000 based on experience
- Performance bonus structure with clear, achievable targets
- Year-round, stable employment in a growing company
- Four (4) weeks vacation
- Comprehensive health benefits — extended health, dental, vision
- RMR ski pass
- Professional development support
- A small, supportive team where your decisions actually move the needle
- A leadership role with visibility — representing Revelstoke to travellers, partners, and the community
WHY REVELSTOKE
Few mountain towns in the world deliver Revelstoke’s combination of legendary terrain, four-season recreation, and authentic community. World-class skiing at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Some of the deepest powder on the continent. Summers built for biking, hiking, and paddling. A thriving food and arts scene. And the kind of small-town quality of life that’s increasingly rare. This isn’t just a job — it’s the kind of move that changes the rest of your career.
